# Ubuntu i3wm Dotfiles I had been using Ubuntu for almost a year, and this was my first custom rice ever. I’m currently using Arch with Hyprland and plan to explore NixOS or Gentoo next. As I bid farewell to Ubuntu, I wanted to preserve this rice and its dotfiles. --- ## Tools and environment - **Operating system:** [Ubuntu](https://ubuntu.com/) - **Window manager:** [i3wm](https://i3wm.org/) - **Terminal emulator:** [Kitty](https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/) - **Status bar:** [Polybar](https://github.com/polybar/polybar) - **Application launcher:** [Rofi](https://github.com/davatorium/rofi) - **Compositor:** [Picom](https://github.com/yshui/picom) - **Notification daemon:** [Dunst](https://github.com/dunst-project/dunst) - **Shell:** [Zsh](https://www.zsh.org/) - **Editor:** [Neovim](https://neovim.io/) - **System fetch:** [Neofetch](https://github.com/dylanaraps/neofetch) --- ## Notes This repository is intended as an archival snapshot of my first Ubuntu i3wm setup.
